ybrid Plastics was established in 1998 to fulfill the demand for
a new generation of lighter weight, higher performance polymeric
materials. Using a new chemical feedstock based on Polyhedral Oligomeric
Silsesquioxanes (POSS); we provide a variety of property enhancements
to existing resin systems. POSS is the only hybrid and nanostructured
chemical feedstock developed to date. Because of its chemical nature,
POSS technology is easily incorporated into common plastics via
copolymerization or blending, requiring little or no alteration
to existing manufacturing processes. POSS radically upgrades the
thermal and physical properties of most plastics.
